Key Account Manager Michael Knobloch traveled throughout Germany and Europe to advise customers directly on- site, train users, and jointly develop customized solutions for current challenges in handling lithium batteries. --- ## Visit to BMW in Dingolfing, incl. test drive of the new iX3 electric model During the first customer visit to BMW in Dingolfing, the focus was on product training for the newest product, the **SafetyBATTbox 360° Storage**. The customer purchased a total of six units of the innovative storage container for the safe storage of large defective or critically damaged lithium batteries. As part of the training, the functions and safety benefits of the solution were presented in a practical manner and discussed in depth. A special highlight for Michael Knobloch was also the test drive in the brand-new BMW iX3, which impressed with state-of-the-art technology and impressive driving dynamics. --- ## Tour de Holland Together with sales partner Robert Sassen from LSC, Michael Knobloch also conducted a “Tour de Holland.” During the trip, they visited customers including Transdev, Pon Logistics, and DAF. The focus was on constructive discussions regarding safety concepts for the logistics and disposal of a wide variety of lithium batteries — from bus batteries to e-bike batteries and truck batteries. The intensive technical exchange underscores the growing importance of holistic safety and logistics solutions in the European market. --- ## Presentation of the latest container solution at Andreas Stihl in Waiblingen Modern safety solutions for lithium batteries were also the focus during the visit to Andreas Stihl in Waiblingen. After an on-site assessment of the existing safety concept, Michael Knobloch presented the new Lithium Safety Container solution and demonstrated its advantages in practical use. In addition, further constructive discussions took place regarding the LogBATT 360° logistics solution. The exchange once again demonstrated how important individually tailored safety and logistics concepts are for industrial applications. --- ## A glimpse into the factories of the future at Tesla Automation in Prüm Another highlight of the customer tour was the final visit of the month to Tesla Automation in Prüm. On site, Michael Knobloch gained exciting insights into state- of-the-art production environments where machines—including those for battery manufacturing— are developed and manufactured for factories around the world. During the visit, he trained a team of twelve users of our **SafetyBATTbox L-2** hazardous materials transport container and also presented LogBATT’s Europe-wide logistics services. In addition to the product training, Michael Knobloch was also available to Tesla Automation employees to answer numerous technical questions regarding the safe handling of lithium batteries. --- The numerous customer visits in April impressively demonstrate how important personal interaction with LogBATT’s partners and customers is. Whether it’s product training, safety concepts, or comprehensive logistics solutions—direct on-site dialogue builds trust, strengthens existing partnerships, and enables the development of practical solutions for the challenges of modern battery logistics.
